To send Fan Mail or ask a question, press the envelope icon while viewing any blog. If the user hasn’t enabled Asks or you haven’t been following them for more than 24 hours, the icon won’t be there.

How do I log out?
Log out? We’ll just assume you’re looking to relive the experience of logging in again. Visit the Account screen and press “Settings.” Scroll to the bottom and press “Log Out.”

If your device is using iOS 9 and above:
1. Go to your phone's Settings app > Privacy > Photos.
2. Set the Tumblr app to "On."

How do I fast reblog?
Press and hold the reblog icon on any post to reblog it in a single step. The status indicator will disappear once the reblog is complete.

How do I post photos and links from other apps?
If you’re using iOS 9+ you can post things from almost any app.
If it's a photo:
1. Press and hold the photo.
2. In the Action Sheet, swipe to the Tumblr icon, then tap it. A photo post form will open.
3. Add a caption if you want, then tap "Post."

You can also post links from web browsers like Mobile Safari:

Can I share or download photos?
Sure. Just press and hold (long tap) the photo, then tap ‘Save Image’ in the Action Sheet and it’ll save to your camera roll.

How do I switch from mobile view to desktop view in my mobile browser?
Aw, no app? No problem. You can request a desktop version of the site using your web browser's settings. For Chrome, tap the 3 dots menu and choose "Request Desktop Site." For Safari, tap in the address bar and pull down on the resulting bookmarks menu to reveal "Request Desktop Site." Additionally, you can download and use our mobile app.

Push notifications are a great way to keep up with the activity on your blog(s). Find out when someone likes or reblogs one of your posts, as well as when someone starts following you.

Can I choose who I receive notifications from?
Of course! You can even configure notifications for each of your blogs separately. Here's how:
Open Tumblr on your device.
Go to the Account tab.
Tap "Settings."
Tap "Notifications."
Choose one of your blogs.
Update your preference.

How do I receive push notifications for new posts on a specific blog?
Open a blog in the Tumblr app
Tap its user menu (the little human-thing).
Select “Get notifications.”
Why don't I receive push notifications for group blogs that I'm a member of?
You can only receive notifications for blogs on which you're an admin.
